What's a credit?
Credits are spent as the agent builds and edits your site — plus custom images and web research. Each paid plan includes a monthly allotment that resets every billing cycle; one-time top-ups roll over indefinitely.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You start with 150 free credits — enough to build and preview a real site — and only add a plan when you're ready to publish it to the web or you've used them up. The starter credits are one-time; a plan is what adds a monthly allotment.
What are the extra credits in my first month?
Building a site takes far more credits than keeping one up to date, so your first month comes with 5,000 credits instead of your plan's usual monthly allotment — room to build the whole thing and keep refining it without rationing. The plans that include it say so on their card. From your second month on you get your plan's normal allotment, and anything left from the first month doesn't carry over. It's once per account, so it applies to your first paid month, not to every plan you switch to.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes — every paid plan includes a custom domain. Bring your own and Ember walks you through connecting it.
Can I get a new domain if I don't have one yet?
Every paid plan includes the ability to connect to a custom domain. If you don't have one, you can buy one through Ember, and it is automatically set up for you. This does incur an additional fee, which ranges from $20 a year and up, depending on the type of domain you select.
Can I change plans later?
Anytime. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings — upgrades apply right away and downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.
