    Use Ember and Claude

Once you have connected Claude to your Ember account, open a new Claude chat. And paste a prompt like this to get started with a new website for your business.

Use the Ember connector to create a new website for Juniper Studio, my one-person brand design business. Include services, a portfolio, an about page, and a contact form. Use sample copy. Let me choose the design, then show me a private preview. Do not publish yet.

Team setup, connector settings, and direct MCP access

Find it in settings: open Customize → Connectors, then Browse connectors. Team and Enterprise owners may need to enable Ember for the organization first with Connect for your team; each member connects their own Ember account.

Direct connection: choose Add custom connector and enter https://embersites.app/mcp. Connect and authorize your Ember account. Your organization's settings may restrict custom connectors.

Need help? See Claude's connector instructions. You can manage or disconnect Ember in Claude's connector settings.

Use Ember to build a website for a neighborhood beer garden called Alder & Ale. Include a menu, weekly events, and visiting information. Let me choose the design, then show me a private preview. Don't publish yet.

  1. Share the brief. Describe the business, audience, pages, and any content you already have.
  2. Choose a direction. Ask for Ember's design studio. If a selection places a message in Claude's composer, review it and press Send to continue.
  3. Review and refine. Ask Claude to run Ember's checks and show the preview. Check the copy, links, images, and mobile layout.
  4. Publish deliberately. When you're satisfied, explicitly ask Claude to publish the site.
Keep going / Existing site

Your existing Ember site comes with you.

Example prompt · copy into Claude

Use Ember to list my Ember sites. Open my beer garden site, add the new summer menu from my notes, and make the opening hours easy to find on mobile. Keep the current design and show me a preview before publishing.

  1. Choose your site. Ask Claude to list your Ember sites and confirm which one to edit.
  2. Describe the change. Provide new copy, images, pages, or specific visual adjustments.
  3. Inspect the result. Ask for site checks and the latest preview before changing the live version.
  4. Publish when ready. Explicitly ask Claude to publish your approved changes.
Your accounts, your choice to publish. Your Claude subscription is separate from Ember. Publishing and additional sites depend on your Ember plan. See Ember pricing. Connecting does not publish your site.
